Removal Policy

1. Purpose of This Policy

The KOLO Girlz Removal & Suspension Policy outlines the conditions under which a student may be temporarily suspended or permanently removed from the program. These measures ensure fairness, accountability, and the responsible use of sponsorship resources. Participation in KOLO Girlz is a privilege that requires consistent cooperation, honesty, and commitment from both students and guardians.

2. Grounds for Suspension

Suspension is a temporary pause in sponsorship benefits. A student may be suspended for any of the following reasons:

Suspended students may regain full sponsorship after meeting corrective requirements.

3. Grounds for Removal

Removal is permanent and results in complete termination of sponsorship benefits. A student may be removed from KOLO Girlz for any of the following:

Removal decisions are final and cannot be appealed.

4. Suspension Process

When a student is suspended, KOLO Girlz will:

5. Removal Process

Removal is carried out through a formal review process:

6. Guardian Responsibilities During Review

Guardians must cooperate fully during suspension or removal review. This includes:

Guardian non‑cooperation may result in immediate removal.

7. Re‑Application After Removal

Students removed from KOLO Girlz are not eligible to re‑apply. Removal is permanent to protect program integrity and ensure fairness to other applicants.

8. Protection Against Retaliation

KOLO Girlz staff, ambassadors, and partners must not be threatened, harassed, or intimidated during suspension or removal processes. Any attempt at retaliation will result in immediate removal and possible reporting to authorities.

9. Reporting Misconduct

KOLO Girlz encourages teachers, guardians, and community members to report misconduct or violations of participation rules. Reports may be submitted confidentially through KOLO Girlz ambassadors or via email at: info@kolo-girlz.org.

KOLO Girlz may update this Removal & Suspension Policy at any time to strengthen program integrity and improve student outcomes. Updated versions will be published on this page.
